The True Story of Valentine's Day
February is a month most popular for the international holiday of love, Valentine’s Day. Each year Valentine’s Day crowds restaurants, exchanges more than 114 million greeting cards, and creates a shortage of red flowers, chocolate-covered strawberries, stuffed animals, and chocolates on February 14th to a grand total spend of $18.2 billion, according to the National Retail Federation. In honor of this holiday, we take a look at the real story of Valentine’s Day.
